1. Opening Ceremony of the WG-LNG Technology Research Council

– Unnamed Vessels, such as gas-fueled vessels, FSRU, and FPSO, ICT(Information communication technology), and gas clusters are necessary, which can be linked with 4th Industrial Revolution, Covering the gas, maritime and shipbuilding Industries.

– It is propose a research project regarding generator ships, which utilize gas.

2. The Mac-Net working-level exchange meeting in the first hall of 2017

  • The 1st part of the event

Macnet (Maritime Cluster Network) will be affiliated with 41 organizations in total by signing the MOU with 7 organizations.
– Lecture on the ‘Global Digital Marketing Strategy‘ by Lee Changgeun, director of BMC.
– Lecture on the ‘Necessity to establish the Korean Cluster for the win-win system of the shipbuilding and shipping industries and the strategic role’ by Han Jonggil, professor of Sunkyul University

  • The 2nd part of the event(Extended Operating Committee)

– The current status/situations will be shared by the Mac-Net operating committee or the working group leaders.
– Mac-Net will continuously open discussions in the second half of 2017 by proposing various agenda and discussion topics.
